The current Practice Tip (PT) refers to the use of the 2010 versions of CCDC 5B. The proposed supplementary conditions have not yet been updated to reflect the changes made in the 2025 versions of this contract. Do not use unmodified if the newer versions of the CCDC contracts are being used.

Effective January 1, 2026, significant amendments to the Construction Act and its associated regulations came into force, affecting both contracts for professional services for construction. Work is underway to update the OAA Contracts Suite and guides to reflect these changes.
