 Role Overview:

Our Toronto firm is seeking a qualified Job Captain to work on institutional projects.  

The ideal candidate will possess an aptitude for design and problem-solving and be able to successfully navigate a complex

client and consultant group. Applicants should possess extensive experience with large projects in Ontario and demonstrate

robust knowledge of the OBC. A successful history with fast-tracked projects is considered a strong asset. 

 Qualifications:

• Professional Degree in Architecture, architectural science or architectural technology. OAA membership or eligibility is an asset

• 10 plus years of professional experience working in a Job Captain role

• Strong knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, building construction, details and building science

• Experience with institutional projects

• Strong technical Proficiency within Revit and AutoCAD

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites is considered an asset

• Comfortable dealing with all levels of project stakeholders, from contractors to clients

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with design, production and consultant teams and work alongside collaboratively

• Review of all contract documents and support PM during design and production phases

• Support site coordination and work with stakeholders to solve construction and site issues

• Support Project Manager during Contract Administration Phase including periodic site visits during Construction

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
