The long-term care sector in Ontario has been rattled by long waiting periods before the pandemic and devastating situations during it. In 2022, the Health Standards Organization (HSO) and CSA Group released complementary and independent LTC standards, proposing higher bars than currently allowed by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care. LTC architects live in interesting times. This opportunity is an exceptional career fit for a candidate who wishes to contribute to the evolving retirement home and long-term care sector.
