Baldassarra Architects is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Architectural REVIT Specialist. We require someone with experienced REVIT modelling skills and building construction knowledge to produce technical drawings, input design specifications and transform design plans into computer generated models for commercial, industrial, retail, and medical projects. Strong communication, time management skills, and attention to detail are desired traits, with the ability to collaborate within the design environment.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture, or Architecture-related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project experience, ideally within the commercial and industrial sectors

• Excellent computer drafting abilities with particular proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Basic technical construction knowledge (as it relates to functional design) is required

• Strong technical knowledge of building construction and details, Ontario Building Code, and building science

• Ability to lead and work within a team environment

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with and support Project Managers and Associates on the development of projects.

• Assemble construction drawing sets with minimal supervision from schematic design through to construction administration in Revit, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall details, etc.

• Work with current design techniques, building systems, and keep current with design trends, code changes, and developments to sustain and improve technical and design skills

• Prepare client presentation materials, design development documentation, and construction documentation on a wide variety of projects under guidance from senior architects

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
