Qualifications include

  • 10+ Years’ experience

  • NCIDQ qualifications, registered with ARIDO

  • CIDA-accredited Degree in Interior Design

  • Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and/or other graphic design programs and Microsoft Office is a requirement. Revit proficiency is mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of building code.

  • Institutional Experience a must

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in a variety of project types and project delivery methods.

  • Team Leader with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to coordinate work with the work of other disciplines (i.e. Mechanical and Electrical)

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved with (but not limited to) the following:

  • Has strong knowledge and experience in the entire design process including schematic design, design development, construction and permit drawings and specifications.

  • Can provide space planning that reflects the Clients programs, functional requirements and design consideration and meets all building code requirements.

  •  Provide 2D and 3D development of design concepts, with emphasis on developing high quality renderings.

  •  Research, gather, recommend appropriate finishes and furnishings that capture the functional, aesthetic, environmental and budgetary requirements of the project.

  •  Prepare documentation for the selection, specification, procurement and installation of furnishings and equipment, including detailed layout drawings and schedules.

  •  Preparation of Contract Documents plans elevations, detailed sections and schedules in REVIT and AutoCAD software

  •  Maintain good client relationships through attentive and results-oriented service.

  •  Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  •  Understand the project fee and client budge

 

 Salary Range: $75,000.00 -$85,000.00 commensurate with experience and qualifications
