Overview
We are looking for a curious and highly driven Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our 25-person Toronto-based award-winning architecture and interior design studio. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the design industry while contributing to the firm's growth. If you're a creative storyteller with an eye for design and looking to make a positive impact in the public sector, we want to hear from you.
You'll work closely with the Marketing Director and Partners, supporting our marketing and business development efforts.
Specializing in designing innovative learning environments, Gow Hastings offers fully integrated, multidisciplinary consulting services in architecture and interior design. We are recognized for design excellence in higher education and known for our distinct work in culinary arts. We have several exciting projects currently in development for the University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, Conestoga College, City of Toronto, and Toronto Botanical Gardens.

Key Responsibilities
Proposals: Develop creative and engaging proposal responses, coordinate submissions, write compelling content, and maintain high standards for deliverables.
Marketing/Communications: Create content for brochures, and press kits, manage social media, maintain the website, and promote brand alignment across channels.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a creative role preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.1-3 years of experience in a creative role preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional writing skills and a strong design eye.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.
- Proposal coordination experience in design, engineering, or construction is a plus.
- Experience with web platforms and social media applications.
Salary Range$55-$75K. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with ability and experience.
