We collaborate closely with private clients, homeowners, home builders, and general contractors to provide comprehensive architectural design and services.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

LETS Design Inc. is seeking talented individuals to join our team in the following roles: Intern Architects, Architectural Designers, and Architectural Technologists. This part-time position offers flexible working hours, ranging from 20-30 hours per week, based on the project type and scale, and is a project-by-project approach. This role is ideal for candidates with flexible schedules to work with us.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong design and technical skills across various architectural disciplines, with experience in Concept Design, Construction Documentation, Building Permit Applications, and Building Codes and Zoning Bylaws. You will collaborate closely with the Architect to ensure successful project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of an Architecture or Architectural Technology program with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in the architectural field.

•  Knowledge of interpreting City Bylaws and the Ontario Building Code, particularly Parts 3 and 9.

• Excellent understanding of Construction Methods - Residential & Commercial Construction, and Building Material Assemblies.

•  Ability to translate from Design Concept to Construction Drawings.

•  Proficiency in managing and preparing a complete set of presentations & construction drawings for permit applications.

• Familiarity with the building permit application process.

• Proficient in production software - AutoCAD & Revit.

• Proficient in design software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Rendering and Adobe software

Salary Range: $22 - $35 hourly, compensate based on your demonstrated experience
