Intermediate Architect / Intern Architect

Position Summary

SvN Architects + Planners is looking for Revit-capable Intermediate Architects / Intern Architects for our Toronto Studio, preferably with experience in multi-residential design.

This position is both design and technically focused, requiring individuals who can synthesize strong design intent with technical resolution.

Critical thinking is at the core of our approach to design. We encourage design input at all levels and are looking for candidates that will invest in projects with the same level of passion that we bring to our work.


Qualifications 
5+ years of experience;
Experience in multiple typologies an asset;
Exceptional design, communication, organization and interpersonal skills;
Strong in Revit;
Technical understanding of building construction detailing including experience in mid-rise and high-rise mixed-use buildings an asset;
Project management experience an asset.
Experience with passive house and net zero design principles including energy modeling, daylighting analysis and life cycle assessment tools are an asset.

Exceptional design skills – generating creative and innovative solutions to problems;
Excellent and organizational skills including planning, organizing, scheduling in an efficient productive manner with focus on key priorities;
Attention to detail;
Enthusiastic and passionate about the work;
Effective communicator: articulate and patient;
A self-starter who is able to work independently. 

Salary Range $80,000-$100,000
