Mataj Architects Inc. is a full-service Architectural practice in Oakville. Our team is known to be passionate about fine design and we have high-quality standards that go into every detail. We are currently seeking OAA architects or Senior Technologists with a minimum of 5 years experience in Canada (understanding of Canadian codes and regulations is essential).
We specialize in hospitality design while maintaining a substantial amount of projects involving senior homes, condominium developments, high-end custom homes, and more. We offer a very creative and professional environment and an excellent client group.

Requirements:

Licensed OAA or Senior Technologist

Minimum 5 years experience

Experience in dealing with fundamental Canadian building methods for medium-to-large scale projects

Proficiency in all stages of a project is essential

Strong knowledge of building design and construction practices
Your role:
-
Perform in all phases of the project (site planning, design development, construction documents, coordination with consultants, contract administration, coordinate internal meeting with the production team)

Preparation of site plan applications and building permit applications

Work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, prioritize and communicate clearly with all parties involved in the project

Have a positive approach when collaborating with team members while keeping the high-quality standards of the office in place relevant to drawings, coordination of consultants, internal and external communication, and client relationship.
