Initiatives Announced for the First Half of 2020
Twice a year, the OAA’s Public Awareness Sponsorship program distributes funding to help applicants carry out projects or events that fulfil the Architects Act’s object of “promoting public appreciation of architecture and the allied arts and sciences” to the public.
This year, a record number of applicants put forth submissions for the late-January deadline. At its March meeting, the Association’s Communications Committee agreed to fulfill the sponsorship requests for the following groups or initiatives:
The next deadline to apply for 2021 Public Awareness Sponsorship funding will be July 26. Interested applicants should contact Erik Missio, Communications Manager, at email@example.com to request a form that will be distributed to members of the Communications Committee. Any requests over $10,000 require OAA Council approval based on a recommendation from the Committee.
