Architect / Intern Architect
Post Architecture Inc. is an award-winning boutique architecture firm located in downtown Toronto. We specialize in custom home design in the Greater Toronto Area. We are known and respected for our sensitive integration of modern design and traditional contexts, applying innovation to create spaces for an exceptional lifestyle. We offer a full range of architectural services from design consultations to Committee of Adjustment applications to construction review. Moreover, we collaborate with a team of engineers, interior and furniture designers, to offer our clients a seamless construction or renovation process and the expertise to complete their vision.
We are currently seeking a Licensed / Intern Architect with 5+ years of experience, primarily in the residential sector. Reporting directly to the Principal Architect, the candidate must have strong conceptual design skills, proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up 3D modeling, InDesign, and Photoshop, and familiar with the Ontario Building Code and City Application submissions. As a small firm, the candidate will be coordinating various projects through all phases of design, and therefore, project and time management skills are required.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. This is an in-office position.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Architecture from an accredited institution with 5+ years’ experience
- Registered Architect OR Intern Architect with the OAA
- Strong technical skills and problem solving abilities
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with accuracy on multiple projects in all phases of design
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD LT 2024 and Sketch-Up 3D Modeling
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with interior design an asset
