At its November 5 meeting, OAA Council agreed to amend the terms of reference of the Comprehensive Education Committee to enable the addition of a Student Associate. The Committee oversees matters related to the entire spectrum, of education of both the public and of architectural practitioners, from primary and secondary education to higher education. It provides thoughtful and responsible consideration of the complex and rapid changes in the field of architecture and the broader social context within which it exists.
Volunteers are vital to the work of the OAA, with a diversity of voices, opinions, skills, and knowledge critical to its decision-making process. The OAA invites applications from Student Associates to sit on this Committee for a two-year term, beginning January 1, 2021. Interested members must provide a completed Indication of Interest form and CV to ellens@oaa.on.ca by Friday, December 4.
