New Online Resource for Calculating Energy Use Intensity

TEUI Website Coming Soon

The OAA will soon be launching a new online tool to allow its members to measure the total energy use intensity (TEUI) of a project.

This handy calculator lets you determine the energy performance of a home or building in the units of the most widely used building energy metric. The TEUI is communicated as the amount of all energy sources required, in Kilowatt Hours (kWh), as a function of building area per year: kWh/m2/yr. (Conversion references will also be provided.)

This project was initiated in the summer of 2019 by the OAA’s Sustainable Built Environments Committee (SBEC). More information coming soon.
