CCDC 2-2020 Online Training Next Month

Sign Up for the Presentations

The new CCDC 2-2020, “Stipulated Price Contract,” is a significant update to and will shortly replace the aging CCDC 2-2008. With the completion of the extensive work on CCDC 2, it is expected similar revisions will soon be reflected in new versions of the other Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) contracts.

CCDC will be providing online training in November to present the updated CCDC 2-2020 and the new CCDC Master Specification for Division 01–General Requirements. Both will be published this winter. The online training will consist of four distinct presentations:

  • Presentation 1: An Introduction to CCDC (pre-recorded content);
  • Presentation 2: Changes to CCDC 2;
  • Presentation 3: The New Division 01; and
  • Presentation 4: The Top Five Questions (pre-recorded content).

Each of the sessions for Presentations 2 and 3 will be capped at 50 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
CCDC recommends that attendees register for specific sessions based on their region to ensure the Q&A period is more relevant to everyone’s local practices. Here are the Ontario-specific dates:

  • Southwestern Ontario: November 18 – CCDC 2 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. / Division 01 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Greater Toronto Area 1: November 19 – CCDC 2 8:30 10:30 a.m. / Division 01 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Eastern Ontario: November 25 – CCDC 2 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. / Division 01 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Greater Toronto Area 2: November 26 – CCDC 2 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. / Division 01 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. ET
