OAA Members are Ontario Architects. Other individuals who have status with the OAA are on the path to licensure or; have completed it and are pursuing a new career phase.

Ontario has a two tier system: (1) licence; and (2) Certificate of Practice. You may apply for a licence and Certificate of Practice at the same time. Architects may not offer services to the public without a Certificate of Practice.


Internationally Trained Professionals

For members of the public, including the building industry or design community, there is no official status currently available with the OAA. If you want to get involved with or join your local architectural community, please contact your Local Architectural Society to inquire about opportunities.
