The Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) is looking for presenters for its 2019 conference, and is specifically seeking architects for some of the sessions.
“In recent years, respondents of our post-Conference surveys have indicated their interest in hearing from non-planners on issues of mutual importance to a variety of professions,” says Ryan Des Roches, the group’s education manager. “We would therefore like to invite members of the OAA to submit proposals to speak.”
The 2019 OPPI Conference will take place at Toronto’s Beanfield Centre from October 1 to 3, and will address the topics of uneven growth, climate change and technology.
“The issues of the future will require a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach,” says Des Roches, “and, accordingly, it is critical to hear perspectives of other professions.”
The call for presentations will be open until December 10. For more information, click here
