Junior Architectural Designer

Adamson Associates Architects provides architectural services on iconic projects across the world from offices in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Vancouver.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will join our firm as a member of our design team in Toronto. This team works on multiple projects of various sizes and focuses on early project phases.

This role is great for a recent graduate of an architectural program, as well as Junior Designers with 1-4 years of experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, with Revit experience strongly preferred; familiarity with Rhino is a plus

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

• Interest and ability in rendering is a strong asset (experience with Lumion, Enscape, 3ds Max, or similar tools is a bonus)

• Good design sensibility - ability to communicate ideas through clear drawings, diagrams, and presentation layouts

• Strong work ethic – proactive, adaptable, and accountable, with a positive attitude toward learning and continuous improvement

• Pride in your work – you care about doing good work, paying attention to detail, and producing thoughtful, high-quality outcomes even on small tasks

• Collaborative and Dependable – a team player who contributes positively to a team environment and communicates well with peers, mentors, and project leads

Work Status: Permanent Full Time

Office Hours: 8:30 – 5:00 (Overtime may be required from time to time depending on project needs)

Minimum Salary  $55,000
