We are looking for a full-time Licensed Architect to join our team with the intention of buying into the firm as a partner within 5 years and eventually taking over in 10.

The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in all aspects of residential architecture, a desire to solve design and construction challenges, find satisfaction in working closely with the Principal Architect on all project phases, and enjoy being part of an inclusive and collaborative office.
Licensed Architect Salary Range $80K minimum; commensurate with applicable experience and qualifications.

The candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in architecture, and OAA license

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Architectural practice

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in preparing residential working drawings

• Advanced AutoCAD knowledge (version 2021-23).  Sketchup is also an asset

• Working knowledge of OBC / construction details relating to residential projects in Ontario

• Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task and coordinate efforts on multiple projects

• Ability to deal directly with clients, contractors, product suppliers and other design professionals

• Ability to understand impacts of design on other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural)
