    Junior Interior Designer

    This position is a 1-year contract with potential option to renew.

    The firm is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join their growing team.

    Job Overview

    This entry level position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to participate in the development of highly design-focused projects, and will provide opportunities to develop design and technical skills. The role will also involve administrative duties within the office.

    Qualifications include


    • Degree, or working towards a degree, in Interior Design;
    • Minimum 6 months of experience working with the following project types: high end single-family residential, multi-unit residential, and hospitality including restaurants;
    • Experienced in the production of high quality renderings and presentation materials;
    • High-level of skill in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office applications, and 3D rendering software;
    • Fluent in current design trends, products, and resources;
    • Personable, with good verbal communication skills, and exudes a sense of personal style.

    Duties include

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the studio’s material library;
    • Assist in basic administrative duties, including fielding all incoming telephone calls, filing, running office errands, aiding in the preparation of client meetings, and maintaining studio organization;
    • Assist with the production of interior design drawings, presentation materials, sample boards, and high quality renderings, in collaboration with the Project Manager and Designer;
    • Assist with product sourcing, specifications, and schedules.
