    Marketing & Communications Specialist

    The Marketing & Communications Specialist leads creative and innovative marketing strategies and ensures digital and print communications are engaging, accurate, and valuable. As an integral member of the Business Development Team, in a highly energetic and creative environment, the Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and action plans in support of marketing, PR and communications. The Marketing & Communications Specialist: facilitates the planning and execution of content in alignment with business objectives; maintains excellence in content delivery; participates in research to develop communications strategies and performs proactive content governance. The Marketing & Communications Specialist also establishes collaborative and productive relationships with internal team members and throughout the firm.

    Reporting Structure: This role will report to the Director of Business Development

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Ideally 3-5 years of experience, in an AEC firm, in a marketing and communications role;
    • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications or related field;
    • Demonstrated ability to display initiative, work independently, and positively lead and contribute to a team environment;
    • Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to research, edit, and write to the best practice standard for various channels including print, online, media;
    • Experience in digital marketing strategies including video, podcasts and social media;
    • Demonstrated ability to develop positive relations and work efficiently with external and internal stakeholders;
    • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically, highly organized, and detail-oriented;
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while meeting quality standards and on-time delivery;
    • Engagement and awareness of industry trends in architecture and design


    • Develops marketing and communication strategies, and value propositions to raise brand awareness and engage with audience;
    • Manages company brand identity and reputation;
    • Develops and implements communication strategies of studio culture and business objectives;
    • Leads Quadrangle’s content marketing strategy through social media, website, intranet, newsletter, blog, video and new media;
    • Maintains the firm’s marketing information resources in company’s database;
    • Identifies and coordinates speaking opportunities to promote the studios’ industry leadership;
    • Oversees annual award programs and submissions;
    • Directs the work of in-house writer and graphics specialist for relevant tasks;
    • Prepares digital marketing campaigns and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data;
    • Participates in Studio related design strategies that support the studio’s brand (i.e. exhibitions, competitions);
    • Monitors industry news and leverages trends to implement marketing and communications strategies;
    • Coordinates with PR consultant and writing consultant(s) on major projects;
    • Supports and trains the Studio’s industry leaders on digital profile development.
