    Zeidler is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our downtown Toronto office to promote the company’s brand, values, and work. Working with your fellow marketing team members and firm partners, you'll help develop new business and strengthen existing relationships by communicating with clarity, managing multiple priorities and developing compelling content for proposals, social media, and other marketing materials.

    Qualifications

    Your experience and capabilities include:

    • Post-secondary degree in architecture, art, communications or design-related field
    • 1+ years of work experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
    • Excellent professional writing and editing skills
    • Experience creating large multipage proposal documents
    • High level of proficiency with Adobe Suite of programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) as well as online collaborative tools
    • Ability to work independently and to effectively prioritize
    • Candidates should be able to multitask, possess strong organizational skills, and an acute attention to detail
    • Ability to successfully work under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, and to maintain grace under pressure
    • A positive and professional attitude with the ability to work with all levels of the firm from administrative staff to partners
    • Passionate about architecture, design and the culture that surrounds it

    Duties include

    In a typical week you will:

    Lead the development of proposal documents

    • Coordinate proposal content from internal and external sources
    • Write and edit clear, concise, and compelling proposal copy and graphics
    • Source project opportunities (MERX, Biddingo, etc.) and research prospective clients for marketing team and partners
    • Developing compelling content and maintain a regular posting schedule for all social media channels including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook that promotes the company’s brand, values, and work
    • Updating presentation materials, staff CVs, and other marketing resources on an ongoing basis
    • Researching external industry events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy
    • Managing the awards calendar and leading the submission of project awards
    • Maintain marketing and project database
    • Planning and coordinating internal social, extracurricular, and team building events to promote a positive company culture
    • Providing support to firm partners and senior level staff for various smaller projects and tasks as needed
