- Must have a minimum of 5 years in Architectural Marketing/proposal manager role.
- Must understand RFP process and Architectural business.
This is a leadership role with carriage over all aspects of our strategy, business development and marketing. You will help us better understand our basic value proposition, identify opportunities, and create a communications toolkit that tells our story.
The role will require holistic thinking. The expectation is that you will help us create a custom approach to marketing and communications and that you will work closely with senior staff to develop both a comprehensive strategy and execution plan for the firm.
We anticipate that you will identify required support functions and advise on the cost benefit analysis of outsourcing versus supplementing the team in-house. Given the size of our firm and available resources, we will be careful to tailor our marketing team to suit specific targets. In this regard, you will be responsible for creating and monitoring the marketing budget, and be an intrinsic part of our business case planning for the firm.
The Marketing and Communications Manager will report to the Principals and will work closely with senior staff including Studio Directors and Architects on all aspects of the role.
You will also coordinate with both Accounting and our Operations Manager on budgets, projections and resourcing.
We expect that the day to day will range significantly from tracking opportunities and managing RFP submissions to planning our long-range strategy and building a support team to execute this vision. We are committed to bringing on in-house marketing staff to assist with output and/or outsourcing support functions. This will be your team to plan, build and manage.
The role encompasses holistic thinking and leadership for all aspects of marketing and communications at Cumulus. In general, the key responsibilities for the role are as follows:
