Canada’s new national building strategy aims to make high-performance, highly energy-efficient buildings the norm across Canada by 2030. Passive House Canada is pleased to offer high-performance Passive House training courses in Ontario to help Architects, Designers, and Planners explore how to design these buildings affordably and effectively while earning Continuing Education Learning hours. Our instructors are industry professionals experienced in designing and building Canadian Passive House building projects, and are accredited by the Passive House Institute in Germany.
These courses offer you the opportunity to become certified in applying the Passive House (Passivhaus) Standard, the internationally recognized, results-based method for building for comfort, affordability and high-performance energy efficiency of residential, institutional and commercial buildings, through all stages of design, construction, and livability. Passive House certification ensures that architects, designers and consultants are expertly qualified to design buildings to meet the standard. Passive House Canada is affiliated with the International Passive House Association and a member of the North American Passive House Network.
