Thirty of Hamilton’s oldest, unique and changing spaces will be open thanks to generous owners/managers!
Featured this year are sites in the North End Neighbourhood where Hamilton’s West Harbour waterfront is in the midst of transformational change. Visit 13 new sites and find parrots, a joiner (woodworking), churches that grew, an Inukshuk, Queen Victoria’s permission to use the word “royal,” and one of Hamilton’s first knitting mills. Explore new uses in old and not-so-old buildings, see green buildings and unique spaces that are rarely open to the public, and learn how some Hamilton spaces and landscapes have evolved over the years.
