Richard Wengle Architect Inc. is a mid-sized architectural firm located in downtown Toronto, specializing in boutique residential projects, both single family residential and multi unit condominium.

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Architect with 10+ years of experience to fill a full-time permanent position managing large-scale residential projects and its coordination from Design Development to Construction Documents.

The successful applicant would be prepared to:

• Assist with design development and working drawings, permit, tender and construction documents including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall details, etc. using AutoCAD 2024.

• Take a project lead role and coordinate other disciplines engineers, and other sub-consultants.

• Manage all aspects of client relationships, including meeting with clients, progress reporting, and the resolution of issues as required.

• Excellent knowledge of Canadian/Ontario and other relevant codes and standards.

• Experience mentoring and coaching junior and intermediate architectural members

• We are seeking a self-motivated individual who would thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Organization, communication skills and being able to work well under pressure is a must. Applicants with a cheerful attitude and good interpersonal skills with staff, clients and consultants are desirable.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000, negotiated and based on experience.
